The travertine has natural variations and a smooth finish, with one tiny pit that feels normal for stone. It is heavy and stable. Ease of use is good. Assembly was just placing the top on the base with felt pads and it sits level. Packaging was careful with thick foam and corner protectors, though one box had a scuff. Delivery arrived a day later than the original window but the driver helped get it inside. For value for money, it is not cheap, but it looks more expensive than it cost.

The top is heavy and sits flat. There is a tiny fill spot on the edge. The finish is a bit porous, so coasters help. Price feels high for the size. It’s heavy and solid, no hollow echo, and the narrow profile fits my entryway perfectly. Arrived well packed; the top locks onto the base securely. Two notes: travertine is porous, so I sealed it before use, and the fluting can collect dust. Swiffer solves it. Added felt pads to level on my slightly uneven floor. Overall, statement piece.
